- 1 tablespoon Grace Vegetable Oil
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon scotch bonnet pepper, deseed, chopped
- 4 ounces carrots, julienne
- 2 ounces onion, chopped
- 4 ounces green sweet pepper, julienne
- 4 ounces red sweet pepper, julienne
- 0.5 cup water or stock
- 0.5 teaspoon Grace Caribbean Traditions Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 packets Grace One Pot Seasoning- Cock Flavour
- 2 packets Grace Elbow Pasta
- 0.5 teaspoon thyme leaves
Directions
- In a saute pot add Grace Vegetable Oil and sweat garlic and scotch bonnet pepper for 1 minute.
- Add vegetables and saute for another 1 minute.
- Add 1/2 cup water or stock, Grace One Pot Seasoning-Cock Flavour, mix well and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Reduce flame to low, add Grace Elbow Pasta, mix well cover and allow to heat through for about 5-10 minutes.
Method Note: Sweat - the gentle heating of cooking coarsley chopped vegetables or other foods covered and cooked in little fat (oil, butter).
